Tales of Tomorrow

3D DESIGN. 3D MODELLING. ART DIRECTION. MOTION DESIGN

I was commissioned as a freelancer by the design studio Tales of Tomorrow after reaching out to them with an initial visual pitch. The project involved creating a series of short motion pieces interpreting their brand motto: “Trust, love, joy.” I developed a series of short animations exploring the moto concept through typography and abstract visual elements. From the initial set, four final videos were selected as deliverables: two more typographic and structured, and two more playful and experimental in tone.

Across the series, I introduced an organic, soft-shaped visual element interacting with the typography, creating a contrast between fluid forms and stronger typographic compositions.

I was later approached by the same design studio to support the launch of Kenton Thatcher’s book Sessions, a photography book and exhibition project.

My role was focused on creating a realistic 3D representation of the book, based on their design.

I recreated the book in 3D with a focus on material realism, lighting, and physical presence, ensuring it could be presented convincingly within the exhibition context.
